Outfit of the Day: The Green Belt

We have two major green belts that run through our community. This one in particular is a wood chip trail that walkers and joggers use. One of the best features of the trail are water fountains for us and bowls for our 4 legged friends. Adam and I have taken it once from home all the way to the end and back. The beautiful greenery is such a jewel that's tucked away in the beach communities. I'm glad I did it once and explored the full belt. Will I do it again? Um, no. The ground was hard on my shins. Maybe if we cut the trail in half it will be do able. These photos were taken at the end of the trail. I was driving by running some errands and thought this would be a nice change from all my photos from home.

  2. Tabatha- Awe, I miss having a pup. There really is nothing like the company of a dog. Not to say that I don't love my cats, it's just different. Thanks for the comment :)

  4. oomph- Thank you. When the weather gets warmer I normally take a day to go hiking. I never thought that I would love being outdoors like I do. I'm such a city girl at heart, give me theater and museums any day :)My BF has made me into a more rounded person in finding the joys of nature too. If you have the time I would totally go exploring, act like a tourist in your own town :)

  5. H Rija- No, at the moment I'm not a dog owner :( If it was up to me I would have a farm full of animals. I do have a post of one of my kitty cats here is the link:

  6. Beautiful scenery! I just had to comment on your reply to (oomph) because I, too, am a city girl at heart and my fiance has most recently taken me hiking for the first time in the mountains and I just loved it! So he has indeed done the same for me haha, so I thought that was cute!

  7. JewelBijoux-Ha ha, that's too funny. I had to go out and buy all new gear for trekking it outside. It was a whole other world for me :) It really gives you a different view of what is beautiful.
