Pink Promenade

I have a love/hate relationship with bold color. I love the way that people are wearing hot colors today. Using the color blocking technique and wearing the colors together or toning them down with a neutral. It always has the look of the moment and compliments everyone that wears it. It has me reconsidering my personal position of it. I have bought in the past a bright yellow tank and it's been sitting in my dresser for a year now. It's one of those items that  I would take off and put on a gazillion times in the morning with it always ending up in the drawer again. I just feel more comfortable with neutrals.
It's time for a call of courage to change. I'm slowly easying myself into the trend by way of small amounts. I thought that the best way to do this was with nail polish. Since I didn't know how committed to this I will be I didn't feel like spending $7.00 or more on a bottle. Lucky me NYC has a great selection of bold colors pink, green, and yellow to chose from. I went for the "Pink Promenade".

I'm in love with the result. It stayed true to the color in the bottle with two coats. With fast drying time I just might have to go back to Target and buy another color. Here is to dipping in my toes (fingernails) into the pool of color :)
